1) How do I get to the Central Station?
From the entry / exit of the hotel, turn left and cross at the traffic lights located on Goulburn and Pitt street. Continue walking along Pitt street, past the Monorail and then looking to the left you will see the large clock tower located directly above Central station. Proceed directly towards the Clock Tower and enter the station. It is approximately a 10 minutes walk.
2) Where is the nearest supermarket or shopping centre?
There are a number of 24 hour convenience stores in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. World Square Shopping Centre is the closest major shopping centre located right opposite the hotel. World Square Shopping Centre opens from 9am – 6pm daily and 9am – 9pm every Thursday. The shopping centre contains mixed retail, supermarkets, department stores and various food outlets.
Paddy’s Market and Market City are also within close walking distance, containing one of Sydney’s most popular market spaces, open from Thursday to Sunday.
Alternatively, take a free shuttle bus 555 which runs from George Street all the way to Circular Quay and conveniently drops you at Queen Victoria Building and short stroll to Pitt Street Shopping Mall where David Jones and Myers are just around the corner.
